New Parents

Welcome to Kids Crossing! We are so honored that you have chosen us to care for your child(ren), and we consider it a privilege to work with your family. On this page, you will find everything you need to know before starting with us. If you have any questions or would like to chat about care, please call us, email us, or stop by the center. Transitioning into a new daycare can be overwhelming for both the parent and child, so we want to do whatever we can to ease that process.

ProCare

Our teachers use an app called "ProCare." ProCare allows us to connect with parents online, so parents/guardians can see every update to their child's daily activities. On your child(ren)'s first day, you will receive an email from ProCare that contains a unique code and instructions for downloading the ProCare app. Teachers update ProCare and message with parents via a classroom tablet or their personal device.

Key Cards

Kids Crossing has a secure access system. Our doors are locked 24/7, and can only be opened by a keyholder or from a teacher inside the building. On your first day, each family will receive 2 key cards. When held up to the magnetic strip outside the door, the card will unlock the door. If replacement keys are needed, please talk to a teacher. A $5 charge will be taken from your account for each additional key.
